Showcasing our expertise

University of Bristol Computer Centre

client: John Perkins Construction

Sector: Education

Working for long-term client John Perkins, the internal fit-out and refurbishment of the University of Bristol’s 5 Tyndall Avenue Computer Centre represented a significantly complex project.

The building remained partially occupied throughout the build, placing an emphasis on reducing disturbance to staff and the surrounding area from site traffic.

An elaborate hoist system was set-up to transport both people and materials to site, to avoid the main user-routes. This lift was shared by all contractors, putting an emphasis on accurate delivery schedules.

Our team of 15 operatives worked across a 5-month program to deliver a range of services including Suspended Ceilings, Internal Partitions and Bulkheads.

Our expert fitters also installed Ecophon products for acoustic treatment and challenging Fire Stopping solutions.
