Optimum was founded in 1999 with the vision to be the best at what we do.

Almost 20-years on and Optimum are now nationally recognised as a leading specialist contractor in the South West and South Wales regions, with a growing reputation for both quality and service.

With three divisions combining to deliver a wealth of services and solutions for some of the UK’s largest construction industry’s Developers and Main Contractors across a range of sectors, including healthcare, education, residential and commercial.

20 years has seen the company grow both in size and expertise, with over 70% of our staff having at least 10 years’ service, recognising that it’s our people, our tradesmen, our Optimum family who really make the difference.

But it’s not just what we do, it’s how we do it that matters to us, working with integrity and the values that our founders set out in 1999.

The Directors of Optimum recognise that the construction industry can be dangerous, as a result the Health & Safety of everyone involved in and affected by our operations is our number-one priority, it is central to the sustainability of the business.

Increasingly we recognise the importance of behavioural change in creating a safe working environment. We are building a culture in which our employees & contractors believe that safety is the number one priority.

Optimum continue to invest in the development in both equipment and people to maintain the highest industry standards.

To assist with the development, promoting and monitoring of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality measures Optimum operates an Integrated Management System (IMS), which is certified to the following international standards by third-party auditors:
